Frequently Asked Questions

When can I retrieve my vehicle?

Once your redemption request has been submitted and approved, our team will contact you to confirm next steps and schedule a vehicle release or pickup appointment.

What payment methods are accepted?

Payment details will be reviewed during the redemption process. Accepted payment methods and any required forms will be confirmed by our Redemptions team.

Can someone else pick up my vehicle on my behalf?

Yes. A third party may retrieve the vehicle with proper authorization. Additional documentation may be required and will be communicated during the approval process.

What if my insurance documents are inside the vehicle?

If you’re unable to access your insurance documents, you may request copies directly from your Insurance Broker. Active insurance is required before a vehicle can be released.

What do I need to bring to my appointment?

You will be advised in advance of all required items. Typically, this includes valid identification, keys (if they were not taken at seizure), and any authorization documents if applicable.

What if I only need to collect personal belongings from the vehicle?

You may request access to retrieve personal property without redeeming the vehicle. Please contact our team to arrange a personal property pickup appointment.

What Insurance Information is Needed?

For insurance verification, please provide a document that includes the customer’s full name as it appears on the loan, the policy number, the active policy term (effective and expiry dates), the vehicle description with the full VIN, confirmation of full coverage (including $1 million third-party liability, collision, and comprehensive or all-perils coverage), and the secured creditor listed as lien holder (except in BC, SK, and MB).
